Black Polyester Felt for Cushioning, Lining & Industrial Parts

This black polyester felt is a versatile medium-density felt material made from synthetic fibers for general-purpose industrial and commercial use. With a 1/2 inch thickness profile, and 72 inch width, it offers more body and cushioning than thinner polyester felt while remaining flexible enough for cutting, shaping, and fabrication.

The 1/2 inch thickness makes this black felt well suited for protective liners, equipment padding, spacers, washers, anti-squeak pads, anti-vibration pads, kiss-cut components, and custom die-cut felt parts. Its medium-density construction provides useful abrasion protection, cushioning, and separation between surfaces where a clean black felt material is preferred.

At 55 oz per square yard and 100 GSM, this 0.5 mm polyester felt has a substantial feel for applications that need more padding. Polyester felt is also a practical lower-cost alternative to SAE pressed wool felt for applications that do not require a specific SAE grade.
