2mm Black Polyester Felt for Cushioning, Lining & Surface Protection

This black polyester felt is a versatile medium-density felt material made for applications that require durability, flexibility, and consistent synthetic fiber construction. With a 2mm thickness, .078"" profile, and 60"" width, it is well suited for larger layouts, liners, protective pads, spacers, washers, die-cut parts, and general industrial use.

Made from polyester fibers, this black felt offers a practical alternative to wool felt for applications that do not require a specific SAE wool felt grade. The medium-density construction provides useful cushioning and abrasion protection while remaining flexible enough for cutting, shaping, and fabrication.

At 11.8 oz. per square yard, this 2mm polyester felt has more body than thinner 1mm felt while still maintaining a low-profile thickness. Use it for protective lining, equipment padding, packaging inserts, anti-scratch surfaces, craft and display applications, and custom felt components.
