Eco-Friendly Tan Wool Felt for Lining, Padding & Insulation
Eco-Felt is a cost-effective, eco-friendly natural wool felt material made from 100% tan wool. This 3/4 inch thick felt is supplied in a 60 inch wide format with a 5-yard minimum purchase, making it a practical choice for industrial, commercial, and general-purpose felt applications where cushioning, surface protection, sound absorption, or insulation is needed.
Made exclusively by Sutherland Felt, Eco-Felt is a natural alternative to traditional SAE wool felt for applications that do not require a specific SAE grade. No dyes or post-processing are applied, giving the material its natural tan appearance while helping keep costs lower than many comparable SAE grey and white wool felts.
Important Architectural Use Notice: Eco-Felt is not recommended for architectural use. Sutherland Felt does not recommend or warrant Eco-Felt for architectural applications. For architectural felt materials, choose products specifically designed for architectural, acoustic, wall panel, or design applications.
*Depending on density, Eco-Felt costs 5-15% less than SAE grey felts (F-3, F-7), and 40-45% less than SAE white felts (F-1, F-5, and F-10).
